Meet JJ
Jason “JJ” Jacobs and his wife, Katie, are proud residents of the Boulevard neighborhood where they are raising their three boys.
The grandson of Greek immigrants, JJ was raised in Florida, and earned a baseball scholarship to the University of Georgia. After two college World Series appearances, he was drafted and played professional baseball for several years. He later returned to finish his degree from the University of Georgia in Mathematics and decided to make Athens his family’s home in the fall of 2009.
JJ has served as an assistant baseball coach at UGA and now helps his wife run their small business in downtown Athens. Together, JJ and Katie have created over 100 jobs over the last 13 years. In addition to running a business, JJ provides color commentary as a Bulldog Baseball sports broadcaster on the SEC+ network.
